In theory, how much hash could one expect from 1lb of bud? I'm not talking about the clippings, I'm talking about bud. This probably differs from strain to strain, but what is a ballpark?

That makes sense,
actually perfect sense if your buds have 10% to 12% resin.
I wonder about the strains that say 20% to 25% THC.
Do you think that would make a difference?

i'd like to know this too!! i'm gonna try the gumby method in bout 2 weeks, i'm really excited, i've never done it before, i feel like a fucking kid! haha..i have a small grow, so i'm gonna add tiny popcorn buds, will it be worth it? i assume i'll just get a small amount of hash, but still awesome!

haha, if i were rich like you with ozs of bubble hash layin round, i'd use the bags too..but for us normal folk, gumby is just fine, hahhaha...i'm kiddin bro, i've never seen that much bubble hash in real life!!!! nice work

what do you mean"without the bags you lose?" can i get 10 grams of hash from 50 grams of trim and popcorn buds??
it's not about how much yet can get from X amount. it's about how well you can do it without getting anything but trichomes. you want as little plant matter as possible. this means as gentle of agitation as possible. i've seen these method where you grind up your trim to make hash, this is ALL WRONG. the last thing you want to do is break up your trim.
