I ALMOST understand cloning............

I am about to begin doing a little cloning in the near future. I have all of the necessary materials/equipment, and I have a good solid understanding of the process ---- except for one little thing.

Where do I take the cuttings from???:dunce:
I know that when I top a plant, the removed top can be used as a clone, but I here people taliking about taking lots of clone cuttings at once. What/where are they cutting? Tips of branches? Wouldn't that fuck the pant up if your taking 4 to 6 cuts at a time?????
I hate to ask what most here would call a dumb question, but I've searched all through here and I cannot find the answer (everyone ASSUMES that we all already know, I guess).

Thanks!!!!

u will see that at each node there r growing tips that come out where the stem and petiole(leaf stem) meet......make sure there r at least 2-3 nodes and cut above a node so there will be new growth from said cut
hope that helps u out

Some say take from lower, older shoots, cause less nitirogen there. Whatever works best for you imo. Most mother plants are toped pretty early. You can root it. I never do tho. Next step is to let it get bushy (patience). Its a good idea to have several mothers depending on your seup/cycle.

Thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!

I think I get it now, I just wasn't sure if cutting those new-forming branches would fuck anything up!!!
