I am a new grower input would help

Hi I'm atomica92 I recently started growing and some help would be greatful...my grow space is about 4sq ft

What are you using for lights? how many plants? What are you expecting? I am a noob also and I have 4 square ft also. I have a 400w MH light with a couple gallon pots. take a look at my grow. Link is in my signature. Let me know what you think.

I have a 65 watt plant bulb and a 42 watt cfl...I have three plants and just found out they have been to far from light

I also have them in 6" pots

hey man , the plants look good, a little tall. but as you said your lights are tofar away. if i were you i would loose the tinfoil. it does the trick but can create hot spots. for a cheep temporary answwer i would try painting the inside of a cardbord box white, and putting the plants ans lights in there till they get a little bit bigger. you would want to cut a cuple holes at the top and botom of the bottom of the box and fix a fan to the hole on the bottom * i picked up a little 4inch desk fan from walmart the other day for 5$* that wont be to strong to break the plants, but strong enough to cool the box.
if you dont have the means to make a little box then i simply sugest mooving the lights as close to the plants as possible, and putting a small fan on them

LOTS-O-LIGHT. <-- Is what your bout to need. The one CFL you got isn't enough. CFL's are great in my opinion but, you usually have to have a few or more depending on Lumen output. I'm not sure what you are talking about when you said a 65W plant bulb. What type of bulb is it? You might want to push the dirt up around the sides to make it a little more stable. They're lookin pretty skinny and a lil' top heavy.

its a blue tinted GE grow bulb...srry I said plant bulb but I have both the grow bulb and the CFL on right now and I'm planning on getting a few more CFL's right now my lumen output is somewhere around 3100-3300 the CFL puts out 2700 alone

u might wanan look in a cheap flouro set up i bought one from wal-fart for $10 it's a 24" 2 bulb t8 fixture comes with 2 cool white bulbs for veggin my plants did pretty well grew to over 10"s in just 2 months from seed i can't complain for i got for how much i spent and u already saw my pics cuz u commented on them those were grown with the 24" shop light all thru veg

I could buy another cfl with the same output as mine and be pretty set,or would you suggest just buying the set u explained

that'd be 5400 lumens plus the output of the grow bulb
