This is something I lose sleep over. Because Sharia Law is already everywhere. Any day now this will be a serious issue in urgent need of remedy in the US because it has already spread so much.

State level is preferable to federal or global level imo. In the context of the US, i think county level would be more suitable.

As for the Muslim threat, perhaps I have too much faith in the sheer inertia of my countrymen. I don't think Sharia law can happen in many locales in the USA, and even if it does, I imagine it won't maintain its hold. Although I am preening at your tremendous compliment (and don't consider it correct. I think Heis has me beat.), it has not been my experience that intelligence correlates with political sentiment. I've met fantastically intelligent and even worldly-wise people who are all over the [term of emphasis] map in re political belief. Fwiw. cn
