While stoned!

This is something I don't get and would LOVE to test out. I hear people who don't smoke cannabis mention all the time how dangerous it is or how it impairs your ability to do everyday things, but I find this to be totally false. I can do anything just as good if not better while stoned. The only thing I can think of that would be harder is something like complicated math problems, things that would require you to keep a lot of information stored inside your head for longer than a few minutes.. But things like driving, working, reading, anything else, is exactly the same in regards to motor skills or reaction times.

Does anyone else feel this way?

Lol its a load of propaganda BS. true story before i took the ACT's the night before i partied my ass of *stupid i know* and i slept at 4am woke up at 7am to go take the test i was still a little drunk and tires as fuck. On my way to take the test my friend and I smoked 2 bowls and holy shit lol when i got my results back. I got a 26 on it. So ya idk if it was lucky guessing or if the weed actually stimulates your brain cells a little better and you can actually remember and think back at all you learned.

nah math is even easier high. Just a little harder to understand if you don't already know it. But math was WAY fun in college after I smoke a few bowls.

i'd love to test it out for say driving a car against some one who isn't stoned as i think i'm a good ass driver, and i think i could pwn pretty much 99% of other drivers out there..

kind of off topic, but not really.. you remember that tv show, wkrp in cincinati?? one time, they did an on air challenge for drinking and maybe even smoking bud for things like reaction times and shit... i don't remember the show word for word, but it was a great episode that always sticks out in my memory.. i'd love to try something like that..

I agree that I can do most anything while stoned and still do it well. The only thing I have problems with is math problems. I can handle them when I'm sober, but after I'm blazed then its a whole different story.

What about cooking? I'm already NUTS about detail but being stoned takes that to a whole new level. Shit that I cook while under the influence is BOSS!

Listening to certain topics, like lectures, is also monumentally more exciting, especially things like philosophy or astronomy.

I've personally avoided 2 car accidents while stoned, reaction time isn't altered at all. I find I focus on everything about driving when I'm high. Blind spots, mirrors, 10-2, tire pressure, gas, fuckin' everything! Even if I slightly go out of the center of the lane..

The only thing I'm bad at stoned that I can identify is dealing with non stoned people. I can keep a conversation but man sometimes I really hate it. Just let me stay in my head.

But yeah, I'm a courteous driver after smoking bongsmilie

I had the best sound design class for my video games degree yesterday. I went for a few spliff at break, came back and watched trippy videos of megadrive, Saturn, NES, commodore 64 and ZX spectrum music- then had to write an analytical essay on all of them. Awesomeness. The lecturer even liked my doodle of pikachu with a bong on the whiteboard.

Cooking stoned is great, thought I end up humming really loudly to myself without realizing. Nusky is right, math you already understand is easy to get through, not sure about new concepts though.

I do all the lessons and homework I possibly can stoned, because I pay attention and absorb the information more. I'm also less likely to get distracted by doing something else before an assignment is completed.

Best workmate ever.

i pretty much do everything better stoned. weed and video games are amazin together thats about the only time i can snipe is when im high. it helps me study more than it hurts me hell i even workout high! lol

Driving stoned is so dangerous. I don't know why people talk about how good they can drive high. One stoner moment and yours and possibly someone else's (perhaps a child's) life is over. It's stupid how people can admit and laugh about stoner moments when not driving. But when it comes to driving all of a sudden, "I don't fuck up when I'm high. I'm totally in the zone." It's just stupid.

Not to jump on the defensive here, because I agree driving under the influence isn't the best idea. I can't speak for others but "stoner moments" only happen to me when I allow myself to relax to that point. If I'm smoking in in the den and ive got nothing to do it's easy to slip into that haze. But if I'm active while smoking or whatever it's a different thing all together. You don't have the chance to fall into that stone.

Thats how it is for me anyway :peace:

When I was bricking houses...I worked with a guy that thought of weed as a street drug. He didn't know I smoked...and he would always say " You have so much energy!"..." Slow down alittle"...as I would be slammin in 1000 brick a day to everyone elses 600. I ended up running my own jobs...the builders loved me...the homeowners always complimented my work...and within a few more years I was a Union Supervisor running big jobs....and my secret weapon...I love my weed.
