i effin hate 3d movies, i can't possibly be the only one... no matter what that shit looks so fake and in no way does it look 3d to me.. i hate that 3d has become hip and i refuse to see any movie that is in 3d as i find it utterly ridiculous to say the least..

haha 3D is hip now? damn.. They're not really advertised much here in Canada...I thought this shit is theater quality 3D movie experience, that sounds awesome to watch at your own house

damn quote taking too long.. i'm talking about 3d movies being hip, not so much tv's.. it seems every popular movie comes out in a 3d version as well as the normal 2d ..

i have heard that you can get the glasses and play two players on games like call of duty on one tv and you both get the full screen

Actually 3d tvs are not that hip, the market was surprised at the commercial lack of success of them. I think companies pushed hard with them after avatar but the public is just now saturated with flat screen hdtv and felt a little burned out by the market push.

i feel like its more for the money and profits of movies

its costs the same to shoot something in 3d as it does in standard so its a little perk they add to double the price of the movie

and the technology isnt where people want it to be yet and everyones jumping on the 3d band wagon

i love 3d and have seen a few movies that have done it justice. some people get headaches from it. ive never had a problem with it though

also you can play COD in 3d and that shit it crazy!! with some 360 degree headphones you wouldnt be able to know if you were really in a battle or not haha.

but if youre going to buy a 1000 dollar tv already then its really only a hundred bucks or so to get the same tv just 3d

thats what my friend ended up doing when he got his. we dont use it much but for 100 bucks it was worth it. you can also watch alot of youtube 3d videos on it so its paid for itself by now.

if not and you just want the 3d tv id wait a few years and theyll be down to regular ass prices

and theyll have better double projection ones so you wont need glasses! like the ds haha

again, i was not referring to 3d movies being hip, more so 3d movies, ones that you see in the theatre..

Count me as one of the few who loves it. Granted, you've got to have at least a 120Hz 1080p TV set with the active 3D glasses to do it justice. I've watched IMAX Hubble, Coraline, Prometheus, and a Tahiti surfing movie in 3D so far. All I can say is....holy shit! This stoner has found a new love affair. Funny enough, when the 3D is turned off, most of these movies are boring as hell. But how could you not like floating up to a nebula, falling down inside it, then moving through space as the stars fly past your face.

I've never had problems with eye fatigue or anything like that.

its the most pointless shit ever...not only does your fucking head hurt like after 30 min of playing/watching, it makes the screen way darker making it harder to play on some maps
