I cant tell if its a male or female =s

Hello, sorry if this is a super noob question, but I cant tell if my plant is a male or female. this is my first grow ever and i wasn't sure. It looks like two balls to me but I don't no what pre-flowers are supposed to look like haha. Here's a picmmi.jpg any help would be awesome, thankyou:neutral:

these nodes are from the same plant: 3 of 1 node, 1 of another, also why is there like two on one of them and only one on the other, I just started noticing them like a week ago.

The two hairs of a female plant a unmistakable.The male plant on the other hand can be tricky in the early stages they look kinda like a claw or a little green node with a x in the topView attachment 2006816. when in doubt wait a week check again

thanx for the help, so should i kill it? just a little extra info on the plant is that its a sleestak X auto diesel(25%) / jack herer(75%), but the reasion i bring it up is because the plant the seeds came from was a hermaphrodite that pollinated itself to produce seeds , but still produced super dank bud. but i really no nothing about the topic so i dont no what to do.

see how the bulb sits kind of on a stem that attaches to the main stalk? that says male. Bummer man that sucks. ditch it. female calyxes will look similar but they sit right on the main stalk with out the little stem dealio. Good luck

i did, haha. i find it much more easy to tell the difference now, i just couldn't then because i was a 100% noob now im only like 93% =D

You chopped it? spewin mate. one of my plants pre-flowers looked IDENTICAL to that and she turned out to produce some potent fucking buds.... don't always listen to what everyone says, sometimes you just need to find out yourself.. it wouldn't of hurt to go an extra week to find out if pistils came out or not, as mine did.. and as i'm looking through the replies even respected members are telling you a mouthful of lies. i can GURANTEE you from hands on experience and a plant that looked IDENTICAL that they are not male pre flowers. if anything they look more like female pre flowers just un-opened calyx's. i really do feel sorry for you as very good chances are that was a female..


and if any that are still mind-set that they are male pre-flowers i have picture proof of pre-flowers that look more nut-sacky then his yet they still turned out to be female calyx's. I have pictures of the pre-flowers and pictures of them during flowering..

Ouch...looking at it to me was probably a male, being a new grower could have waited until you were certain yourself. Tough one gl in the future.

Sometimes when were not sure theres nothing wrong with waiting a lil longer..

I took a clone from it and switched its light cycle, 16 days later it was full of nuts.

those could have been female pre flowers, but even then it was a hermy so i woulda chopped it anyways

it was worth waiting though, like i said i've had similar case and still turned out to be female not a single sac
