I did it! Im proud of it and i just might do it again!

Well my room is now complete! Just installed my 600w ballast and an HPS bulb!

I would put a pic up of the complete setup but that bulb is like looking into the sun and cant really see much with it turned off.

Quick question thought.. I might have a heat problem with that HPS, would a light hood with a vent in it work? might have to replace some of my ducting to help keep it cool.. any other ideas??

Vented hood works well for heat, also if cord is long enough try to keep the ballast out of the grow area.

bigger venting fans?

Im doing a stealth grow and have too keep everything i need in my room plus my cord isnt all that long how much heat does the ballast give off?

Only way to find out is throw a thermometer in your grow room, turn on the lights and all the fans. Then see where you are at with temperature. Its really about trial and error, Just try to dial it in so you have it at the optimum temperature before you start growing.

Yeah its running a little hot about 100'F lmao but i turned my fan up and moved my thermometer away from the light and closer to where the plants are so i know what temp they are getting the heat at which is about 82'F still a little hot but im working the bugs out
