I didn’t PH my Rockwool cubes before usage

Hey guys!
I made a super rookie mistake and didn’t PH my rockwool cubes before placing the tap roots in the cubes! My question is how can I get a correct PH level in the cubes with the seedlings in them growing currently? Is there a way I could test the current PH level of the cubes and then be able to correct the level? And when would be a good idea to start feeding the nutrients to the seedlings growing in the rockwool cubes? I am using the small 1 inch cubes currently! Thanks in advance folks!

I soak my rockwool cubes in ph'd water before I put seeds in them. Starting to hate rockwool though because it's real tricky. It holds a LOT of water and that can be a problem for a small seedling, and I have drowned some seeds, or they took much longer to start. Probably going to use GHE Rapid Rooters next time. Forget about trying to correct pH now in the cubes. Just make sure that your water is pH correct from now on. Do not feed your seedling until it's about 3-4 weeks old and has 4 true leaves. The cotyledons, which are the two very first leaves (not true leaves by the way) contain the stored food reserves of the seed. The plant gets all it needs from these during its first few weeks. Feeding them earlier than this, you'll just fry the plant and you'll have to start over (yes, I am guilty, we all learn from our mistakes) Attached is a photo of what my current grow looked like before I added any nutrients. Just pH 5.8 water. Good luck with your grow.

Just feed it with some 0.6 nutrient, sorted, the ph of the cube isnt important its what you put in that's important.

Eta.. When completely soaked rock wool still holds plenty oxygen.

If you're using small A-ok plugs for seeds or clones I suggest you Jolt/Jerk/Shake some water off after soaking them, DO NOT SQUEEZE THE CUBES.This technique prevents the tap root/stem from rotting off/mushing quickly.

Also DO NOT force seeds deep in the cube, this will make it harder for seeds to get up and possibly rot.
