Hey Folks that my 1st attempt to grow.I have 5 CFL ligths for per plant 3 daylight 2 soft light. I adjust the humidity at %45. its 3.5 week old. I use coco cana A and B set as nutrient. Its growing in coco coir and perlite. ph level is 6.0.The strain is called Rene, its a special kind for BC, Canada. I keep the lights on for 24hrs straight for veg stage. In the beginning it was growing up fast and healthy however since last week the leaves stated to curl and started to look down. I don't know whats wrong with it but im concerned that its going to die. Please help.

I water it once in a 2 days but as it grows up i water it more frequently because now its kinda drinking water. I know i should get a larger pot but i will do it for the next batch. Do u think is she having a particular problem?

Well right off the bat you can see bad clawing and burned leaf tips. This is a clear sign of over feeding. I'd suggest flushing out your coco a bit and feed them half of what you are feeding them now.

yea that nut burn happened like a week ago and since then i stopped giving nutrient. but i have no idea about why they are curving down..

I don't think your plant is going to die but you do have an issue to resolve.
Things to consider, how is you pH? are you using Cal-Mag? What temps are you maintaining in your grow room?

I laugh when you mention "Rene" as being special for BC, as the conditions in Atlin are a just bit cooler than the Lower Mainland which has a bit higher humidity than the Okanagan.
Don't know how one strain could be tailored made for such a vast region

Not sure of you know all this already, but here goes anyway. When growing with Coco you should be adding in some calmag, not to often, but I have heard others use it every time they water (I do not suggest this). You also want to watch out for nutes with high in K (Potassium) as coco already has high levels of it. My cycle for watering depends on the plant stage and pot size, but every other time I water it is with just PH'd water. I find when they began to droop like that it's normally due to over feeding. Flush it for the next 2 watering cycles and only give half nutes for about a week-week 1/2.

You might want to take a look at using the Lucas formula with Coco - http://lucasformula.com/ - I use maxibloom from veg to flower. Saves me tons on nutes and has not failed me yet.

Ok, stop spraying water on the leaves, that helps nothing. You have two problems from what i can see. Droop and claw. Droop is caused by the plant being thirsty, when its thirsty the leaves all start to droop, oooor what id think your doing, OVEr watering. Constant over watering causes the leaves to stay low and limp, not pointing tward the light. Make sure that your picking up the container its in and feeling if its light in your hand before you water again.
Now the claw, you over fed, you over fed, you know that. Yes flush, thats great to do when youve over fed, but what i see alot of new growers do is water till you get runoff but then leave the plant in the runoff. If your not emptying that drip catcher and letting it sit in the nute soup you just fed it then the medium just reabsorbs the soup. This raises the ppm in the root zone to toxic levels pretty quick, especially in somthing like coco where your constantly feeding. Im in soil and i feed every third or fouth watering but ive still taken a ppm of the runoff and hit 2600 after i noticed problems. Since then i put blocks under my containers between the drip catcher and now it all evaporates and doesnt reabsorb. Good luck :):):)

I said its special because thats what im told from vancouver seedbank anyway if its wrong sorry its may bad. temp is 75F ph is 6.0. i don't use cal mag. what can be wrong do u think?

A couple of my friends told me too that i under watered it because the soil was all dry. however i have been watering it properly for 3 days but there is no change since.. i use tap water that might be a problem do u think?

from the look of the leaves, it's definitely a ph issue. reading your original post, i assume it stems from the feeding they've been receiving. if so, i suggest you flush them.

If you are in the lower mainland you should consider Cal-Mag as the water is very soft

I think your doing somthing wrong and youll reallize it soon enough. Dont look farther than yourself bro. My bro in coco used hella calmag. I dont know how early but i think like 130 ppm of calmag plus fertz....not my grow...just rebarfin but cocos a blank slate so you have to be dialed in.
