I joined a local hackerspace/makerspace recently and everything was great. I could work on my projects and get things accomplished since I'm not downstairs and easily accessible. I'm getting the email feeds for the shop and generally enjoy it.

Then, this new member joined I meet him last week. He was dressed in jeans and a black shirt with a design with a cross in it. He comes across as 'different'. His email to the 'shop' have these weird quotes after his signature that are very dark. Manson, Gacy, all murderers of some sort. Here's a sample of his latest:

This little dipshit makes me very uncomfortable. He now has 24 hour access to the site so being there late at night a lone is now out. He appears to be about 18-20. He leaves me alone but he creeps me out.

I want him out, but I don't want to appear to be a bitch since I'm new too.

If he wants to make someone uncomfortable he is doing a good job. And he hasn't done anything to me.

Haven't you ever meet someone and you just knew they were bad news. This is this guy to me. I wonder if he works at the Post Office.

you dont even know the guy,i dont see anything wrong with that signature,its just a history lesson really!

i take pride in being different,who wants to be like everyone else..well a lot of people do,but i pride myself as a person who thinks outside the box so to speak..and you said he doesnt bother you..i think you watch too many scary movies!!lol

You have never seen the aquantiences of mass murders/ serial killers say they felt uncomfortable around them, it's always "He was quiet and kept to himself".

You are fine, just check you mittens before you put them on.

the government does that all the time, in fact its there justification for imprisoning pot smokers. we make a lot of ppl uncomfortable just with our existence. However we point the blame at them when we are different but at someone else when they are different. as long as he is not harassing/killing anyone is it wrong to be yourself? its it wrong to express your ideas if the differ from others? maybe we need a law that says you can't be creepy? then again there is also no law saying you have to interact with him.

i see where your coming from and i'm just paying the devils advocate. i say that because weather i agree or disagree with you i in no way want to advise you on how to handle the matter less some portion of the outcome could be on my conscience. so i would rather simply state some observations =)

But, I will take the advice that those that are psychotic act more normal than normal.
