so. i'm growing in la4 mix with nothing mixed in. i asked the guy, you're sure it's got everything i need? "oh yeah, absolutely."
well, now i know that's not true...but did plant right in to it without adding anything. ug.
i am using fox farm grow big and am very suspicious of it. it seems all kinds of plants that i've been using it on in my house are going magnesium deficient and maybe now zinc deficient.
i went to the shop the other day to talk about it and the guy "helping" me was perhaps as misinformed as i have been. what should i do? should i switch the nutrients i'm using to something else? how do i combat a zinc deficiency? i've been using epsom salts for the Mg deficiency with good results.
i'm hoping to switch to 12/12 as soon as possible.
