ok this shit is weird. ill upload a pic when my lights turn back on. im growing a purple voodoo in soil. it has 2 ball looking things at stem intersections on both sides of the pistil hairs. the plant was a clone and im well into week 5 of flowering. the rest of my plants dont have these "balls"that i can see. is it posible for a clone to turn hermie? should i worry? the plant looks very full and robust, budding nicely. but i still panic at every problem i run into.

probably need a pi but sounds like a hermie. Yes a clone could turn hermie most likely from stress whats your temps like do you have any light leaks?

SHIT! ill post a pic in the morning, thanks. whats the WORST that could happen if i leave it in the room? will it mess up my other 12 plants? they only have 3 weeks left till harvest. im freaking out! i dont think i have light leaks, one of my fans did tip over and bend parts of it up, but not too bad. temps i keep around 72-75 during the day and 68-72 at night. the red light from the power strip would fuck with anything would it?

Worst that happens is that it pollinates every plant in your room and you get seeds in all your bud and lower yield. And yes, the red light from the power strip could potentially be the culprit. Red/orange light is the spectrum most important in flowering, so that's the worst kind of light to leave in the grow room.

thanks, but i cured that problem to discover a new problem just now. I went to go put a pice of duct tape over the red light and i noticed my biggest ak-47 plant tipped over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i stood it back up, it wasnt the pot that was tipped, but the stalk where the rockwool cube is. im growing in soil. i leaned it up against the wall and i guess i just have to hope for the best?!? any suggestions? please!?

Tie the floppy AK to a stake man. Pretty common for that to happen as plants pack on weight. If you want to, you can keep the hermie around and pluck the pollen sacks/bananas as they appear. You have to watch them kind of closely though, stay on top of them. I have 3 hermies in my tent right now, beautiful plants though..and the herm is rather mild so it makes them worth holding onto.

At worst I'll get a few seeds, not many (mostly cause I hadn't realized they had hermied for a few days).

Stick it out, pluck as they appear..and if it turns out to be a heavy hermie then kill it and you'll have some premature smoke.

ya i bought a clone from a medicinal club and it turned out hermie.
ive heard when a plant is RELE stressed it can grow the pollen sacks to carry on its species when it thinks it will be dieing soon :(
by light leaks do you mean a small crack of light entering the flowering room during off hours? (just making sure)

ok i took a pic now that the light turned on. i inspected the other 12 plants and discovered 4 total plants have these balls! hermies?! should i pull all 4? i have no other light so i would have to harvest early i guess. im in week 5 of flowering. is plucking all of them a good idea? i dont have any light leaks whatsoever. i taped the little red light on my powerstrip. thanks in advance

Any type/amount of light (besides green light) is bad during "off" hours. Yes, by light leak we mean the plants are getting some kind of light during their dark cycle, which will INDEED cause hermie issues.

And yes, plants do this when they are stressed out...such as by light stress...in order to carry the species on.
