I have a question

Im in the process of sexing my plants now and i have one that ive spotted the first pistils on but in other places it looks like it may be starting 2 sprout "balls" too. Its just now begining 2 show its sex and im sure i see a couple pistils. If it was a hermaphrodite would it start producing male and female parts simultaneously when u start fliping the lights on and off? This is my first time growing. Help would be appreciated.

you need to put up a real good, zoomed in shot of the pistils and balls. Then you're thread will get interesting.
