These plants are 42 days in veg and they showed preflowers 1 confirmed female 4 confirmed male and 1 undetermined. I hope the last one is female i have heard that females take longer to show sex(keeping my fingers crossed). I have made my first mistake nothing but feminized seeds from here on out. This was my first grow indoors so it was kind of a learning exp.

the pics are to small yea man ima start using fem seeds and as far as the female take longer to show i dont think so cuz my sativa girl showed sex b4 my indica boy

but there is ppl here who talk down on fem seeds and some times i hear that they had boys from femz

Cut some clones off of the female and grow a forest and kill the males. Just a suggestion. I had some bad luck with feminized seeds.

sooner or later you'll figure out that having a fem mother and cloning is a lot better than buying fem seeds as they have a really high chance of turning hermie in later stages!

your plants look great tho man shame bout the boy count tho

If you grow seed to bud, with little stress, then fem seeds should be right for you.

I force flower, and Im a novice, so I stress my plants to shit lol. Had a fem, hermied, i got pissed and killed it lol.

I had a few more seeds that didnt take. So I said the hell with it. Went to BCSEEDKING and got myself some mango. They are great.

Im pretty happy so far. I have 1 mutant which I didnt know if I was supposed to be happy or not.

1 female, 3 males so far. I got 4 more on the way that are undetermined.

The gentics seem to be ok. I havent had any mutants yet. so far so good minus the male to female ratio.

yeah, i'm 8 weeks into my first indoor grow... planted 6 random bagseeds, got 2 females and 4 males... I was actually shooting for 2-3 females, so it worked out... but a 2/1 male to female ratio isn't the greatest.. :finger:

I made the same mistake only 1 female out of 8 plants.All bag seed except one of the males was from the green triangle.My plants were in different veg stages so the first three male were huge!That sucked!The other four were a lot smaller.I took 4 to 5 clones off those and sent the four to 12/12.So I have four clones that I know are female now.I want different genetics though but its something for now.

I was shooting for 3 so i guess i cant complain to much.

1 out of 8. Ouch!!! I dont feel so bad now. Sorry. Green triangle????? are you talking about Humble county???

if all the seeds are of the same strain why not let the ( 1 male - fastest growing / best tendencies ) mate with your 1 female ( i would cut her up and clone her ... then let male breed with all the female clones ) get more seeds? read in the Growers Bible ... talks about how you can make the new seeds much more likely to be females ( by the ingridients in the soil )
