I have some questions??

I have some questions. I have two plants that I started to grow about two months ago. Well I had a bunch and some were males and they got the axe and now I am left with two females and about 4 others that havent shown sex yet. I have them in one gallon pots and have a bunch of clfs in the closet. I put them into the flowering about 2 weeks ago (12-12). They are about 1 and a half foot tall and really bushy. Well I think so anyways. My question is can I still top these two plants to max my bud and get two colas, or is it too late to top them.

Also I have read so many articles and comments that I get confused. I think that I might have thrown them into flowering too early. I am impatient. They grew for about 6 to seven weeks and then I put them into flowering. Was this too early or no?

Also what else should I expect from here on out? Any suggestions?

Also they dont smell like I thought they would, I mean they have a strong smell but they are in the closet in the bathroom, so they are behind two doors and I do not smell them in my room. I thought the odor would be stronger, will the smell increase with time and growth of actual bud?

I am new to this as this is my first grow, so all the help that I can get would be great.

well i topped mine 1 week into flowering and i got 3 colas on 1 and 2 on the other 3 and i would start flowering when their about 1 1/2 -2ft tall all up to you.Your plant should stink when the buds are forming they wont smell much until the buds are there.

Cool. So do you think that I could still top mine or should I just leave it?? I would rather have some bud than no bud so I am skeptical about topping it. I heard that stress can cause a plant to become a hermi. I dont want to piss these things off and get fucked. Any other input would be great. Thanks.
