I have a white mold at the base of my 2 Afgooey clones i transplanted into soil from my cloner a week ago. How do i get rid of it!?

I usually use a sterilized soil, but this time i tried "Black Gold" for newly transplanted clones, and this white mold was my prize, hooray...

sorry i don't have any pictures, I'm just looking for a remedy not a diagnosis.

Rot is tricky, usually it's fatal. There are various supposed methods that work. I've never personally fixed rot.... The plants just die(remove them ASAP, so the spores do not spread). Usually by the time it's noticed it's too late.

If it's just on the top of the soil remove it(eg. with a spoon).

You could also try to get more direct light to the soil, which will kill the mold.

it ended up being downy mildew anyways, not stem rot. I can be such a noob sometimes, anyways it was super easy to cure, and i'm still never using Black Gold again.

Get them out of the humidity dome, if they're in one, and get some air moving. Also, carefully scrape whatever mold from the top of the soil, that you can, then mist it with some neem oil. As mentioned, it might be too late, but hopefully not. Lack of airflow, is your problem. That, and wet soil, will lead to mold.

P.S. Also sounds like you're watering too much. Try to back off a little, if possible. :)
