I just got some weed and two buds in the bag are literally black

A long time ago there was a strain circulating they called 'purple people eater'

Very first pitch black I had ever seen. That was pitch black.
It was actually very deep purple - but it looked black.

Curious now if they made the name up. Going to look now lol

I think I still have a jar of some Blackcherry Soda I grew ~3 years ago that's really dark, but not *black*

The plant was the tallest I'd grown, but I battled PM with it early on and eventually it ate it up from the bottom up which effectively reduced my harvest from about a pound to 2 jars of the top colas which were unaffected

it wasn't that great anyway
