i have 2 400 watt hps in a 5x5x9 closet
im still trying to get everything all dialed in as far as temps and ventilation
i have a stanley blower hooked up exhausting into attic and another blower aimed at one of the lights as well as a window unit with ghetto rigged exhaust
and another oscilating fan
anyways besides the heat i guess the problem im having is that ive pretty much been forced to start all my new strains on 12/12
because i have no separate veg area.... im just seeing if i can get any ideas from u guys. seems like all i do is research!!! im kinda stumped on what to do because i want to start doing less plants longer veg time because i just ordered aLOT of really great strains.. if i could just maybe help me with some ideas ... ill take some pics if i can get some responses/help...or if theres anything i didnt make clear..:dunce:

...if possible, you can have your fresh air flowing through your veg area by attaching a veg station to your flowering room.
...for a better idea of what I'm saying:

...you should have your flowering room exausting from the highest point in the room since heat raises, and your fresh air should be coming in from the bottom of your room, where the air is cooler.
...if everything is correct, you can attach a veg station (outside of the flowering room) to the fresh air vent of your flowering room, then you can use only one exaust to move air through both spaces.

how about scrounging up an old kitchen cupboard or 2? mine are 14x26x30.mount them high where they would be out of the way & light them w/ cfls. you could fit 3-4 small plants in each. a pc fan at the top & passive vent at bottom(need a light trap) should give enough venting.

trichome fiend, where is the fan in your idea? are the rooms connected with duct? how would you use this idea with a carbon scrubber?

...the inline fan would be at the very end of the run (just before exausting), you could put the inline fan inside or outside of the flowering room.....the scrubber would be located inside of the flowering room, you can directly attach it to the inline fan if you want your fan inside of your flowering room, or you could simple attach duct tubing to your scrubber if you have your inline fan outside of your room.

...yeap, rooms are connnected via duct tube.

thats what i was thinking i just have to make myself chill until these are all done and start everything at the same time.. i had the idea of some type of lightproof shelving but the lil veg cabinet above seems like something i might try. i rigged up my cooltubes today and temps are nice i got the plants REAL close and max temp is 80..most are right at 78.. only problem i have left is im still using passive intAKE. i usually leave the door open when the lights are on heres a quick picIMG00892-20111122-1919.jpg

the picture doesnt show: hanging by a bungee from the ceiling is another stanley fan attached to 6 inch ducting exhausted through the roof... in a couple weeks ill rig up a carbon filter at the end of the exhaust which will go go outside via a 6"register out the roof vents.
the hole i cut for the exhaust ducting in the ceiling is still a square is it important that i seal it up?
