I keep getting hermaphrodites, 3 grows in a row now but only 1 plant. Whats the deal?

This is making no sense, i treat my plants like fragile Fabergé eggs. But for some reason i always end up with 1 of my plants turning hermy. This time however i only got 2 plants that were female out of 6 plants. They are in week 4 of flowering and are turning hermy on me already, both of them.

I'm not going to kill them because my last harvest was small also and my stash is gone. I'm scraping my herb grinder already. (I hate being 30 and not in college for a easy hook up, also it sucks having a wife that smokes too but also awesome)

The only thing i can think of is that my digital timer for my air scrubber that doubles as a air cooler got all messed up when my mother-in-law was in town. Causing my plants to get way to hot.

this has happened to my last two grows but it happened like the last 2 weeks before harvest and my timer for my air scrubber never got touched.

I dont think its the pots they are in cause when i empty them out the roots look fine, after my last 2 harvests.

I use t5's, and i got my plants in a hempy bucket method. So its pretty much hydro.

Also, its it true that feminized seeds come from being pollinated by hermy's, cause if so i'm going to have a crap load of feminized seeds?

If anyone has any ideas let me know. I think tomorrow i'm going to crawl into my grow tent and have my wife zip me in so i can check for light leaks. My babies already went to sleep for the night.

This is annoying. oh this strain is called bubblelicious, its a indica dormant strain if that means anything.

All tips are welcomed, cause i'm going to setup a 2nd grow room this weekend to start new seedlings and finally have a 2nd grow room to clone in. Im so excited.

Light leak? Are you going in the room during the dark hours? Escpecially in the first 2 or 3 weeks. A few grows back a cop took out a power pole during a chase and the electric company had the power going in and out for 2 days. Had a couple of hermies and they pollinated my girls. (Bubblicious and blue mystic). Ive had three grows with those seeds now all females. Thats 36 for 36! Not 1 hermie has popped up either.

Thanks cardeneli for the super fast reply. I'm totally going to check for light leaks tomorrow when i water my hermies. i think i do have a leak where my exhuast pipe is coming out of my tent. Ive been wanting to move my air scrubber anyway to allow more room inside my tent.

They seem to be more sensative to light and dark interruptions while photosynthesis is kicking in. The first 2-3 weeks. Good luck my friend.

My money is on the light leak. 3-1 odds. Any takers?

if u have adumb ass down trhe road with males your intake may suck in pollon. i never have a problem but i spend 10 bucks a peice on clones so i dont even have to worry about it. thats what id recomend.

Must be lucky to have someone to buy clones from. I need to start hanging out at my local hydro store more often. so maybe i can get lucky like you. i just get paranoid every time i go in there cause its close to my work and i dont want coworkers to see my car parked outside.

Anyway, for those interested. It was a light leak, right where i thought. next to the exhaust pipe. I decided that since they are already hermies i would fix it this weekend when i build my 2nd grow room for cloning. In the mean time i am using a towel and making sure i close the closet door. I think i'm going to get one of those Dryer exhaust that you see on the outside of houses. They have flaps on them that close when theres no air flow. So that should block out the light. think i'll get 2 and out on in the intake hole as well, just to be safe.
