Hey everyone I know I know the whole question about yield and how there are many factors to it so I am going to get into detail with my grow so maybe someone who has alot of expierence and or knowledge might be able to guess thanks in advance :)

Ok so im doing an indoor grow
g13 haze and passion #1 3 plants
closet grow
6.5 feet tall closet 5.5 feet long and 3 feet wide
im using fox farm organic soil and perlite
tiger bloom big big bloom grow big nutes
with a 400 watt hps grow light high pressure sodium lamp im going to veg for about 7-8 weeks
flowering time about 8-9 weeks and im going to use molasses at the end of the grow THanks soo much I grealty appriciate it Thanks

LOL @4 or 5 feet when put into flower.

NIKE, please go read the FAQ and also a book or watch a DVD. You will also need plenty of fresh air intake and exhaust in that closet or you are going to fry your plants and produce an enviornment more for bug infestation than growing.

WELL WHEN SHE DOUBLES IN SIZE DURING FLOWER IT WILL BE 10FT TALL. HOPE YOU HAVE THE HIGHT FOR A PLANT LIKE THAT. YES WHAT BONEMAN SAID PLEASE READ THE GROW FAX.:mrgreen: BUT IF YOU ACTULY HAVE 10FT CELLINGS THEN YOU NO YOU WELL HAVE TO VEG FOT 4 MONTHS TO ACHIVE PLANT HIGHT OF 5FT, SO YOUR TALLKING OF A GROW OF 5MONTHS PLUS. :bigjoint:

wellmy 2nd grow i veged a big bud for 58 days 3ft talland at the en she was 7ft tal and got 5oz per plant. i just harvested my 4th grow same strain 60 day veg dif. temps 5ft tall and harvested 385 grams of nice big buds and 1oz of airy buds. its all vareys myfriend. all i can say is when yu get ready to switch to 12/12 many will b able to give an estament. goodluck

yeah im thinking about switching over to flowering at about 2 and a half feet I want the plant just under 6 feet so what do you think I shold start flower at?

im telling u now i run a 600 hps on my plants which are now 5 feet tall and i wouldnt reccomend 400 watt... need more than 600 in some cases to..but what do i know im not through my first grow either but i do notice my plants could use more light even running the 600. they should do fine tho but ur not getting the most u could get is all i am saying.

yeah well im doing 1 plant of g13 haze in a closet in just get that as big as I can fit it in a closet lol I want it to hit no more then 6.5 feet idealy just over 6 feet

I don't understand the point of this post? No one indoors is getting the most they can get.... You buy a light for your particular setup a 400w I'd say is perfect for your area a 600w could work maybe a little big and noway with a 1000w. Unless your outside using the sun your not really getting the most you could get, but for the most part the g/w ratios of HID lights scale up accordingly with eachother, and believe it or not the 600w your speaking of is considered to be the most efficient by many in that regard even moreso than 1000w lights.

Checked the dimensions again, I suppose you could make use of a bit larger light in that area but its not completely necessary. The thing is you may want to try training your plants or scgrogging something like that so you can keep the light low and close to your plant because if your serious about wanting to grow them to 5' at that point the 400w wont be able to produce enough light for your lower branches and they will produce the airy fluffy popcorn buds. So either train so your light can penetrate or buy a bigger light that will be able to penetrate.

yeah I was thinking about buying a 600 watt bulb for flowering and just using it for other grows too

The sun comment really had little to do with the post was just adding that in. The point was that no-one is getting the most they can get only the most they can get for their situation.

Every person with a 70w HPS is going to be like man I could grow so much better with a 150w, the 150w could grow so much more with a 250w, 250w with a 400w, 400w with a 600w and 600w with a 1000w.

The point is if everyone had the space, budget, means, and security to do so we would all have a room full of 4 1000w lights producing pounds and pounds, but we are all faced with our own limitations whether its space, affordability, or just the price of electricity, so different light setups work for different people but reguardless unless your doing something wrong any wattage will work nearly as efficiently as the next.

yeah well im doing a closet grow with a 400 watt hps grow light setup with 1 maybe 2 plants of g13 haze lol what size do you think I should switch the plant over to 12/12 if I want it to be bewtween 5.5-6 or should do you think I should just 2 smaller plants if I want more of a yield 2 smaller plants or 1 around 6ish foot plant
