I know this is probley in the wrong forum but any ways. I was wonder in something popped in my head... It's one of those questions you just wonder on like how did the first people learn to translate all the different languages... Or why is a fork called a fork an not a spoon.. Well anyways I found my self pondering a question that I should have asked my history teacher but forgot.. Why is south America south America? It don't have states like n america an it's not under the same gout. Nor does our pres. Control it.. Yes I understand it the name of the contenent.. But ours is north America ska the united states of America ... But south America is no way connected to us .. Also how is it south America when Mexico it inbetween us... People talk about the south but there refering to the south east part of America ... Would it be if u said the southern part of America is Mexico?? Why do they also get the name America when there not even Americans ... I never got that ... Hmmm.. Just one of those questions u ponder... Well if you might be able to help please comment or if u have a question u would like to share for us all to ponder please feel free to put em down.
