You should be fine. Don't use that e-mail address for anything else though.
Sometimes if an e-mail address is used often it can be found on google etc (such as a forum or if you posted the e-mail address, spam companies get ahold of it, etc.) Then you'd be able to find the forum name, and then you could search the forum for personal details, and also search the screen name the e-mail address was found under on the forum etc etc..
