I need a pro!

I have 2 Widows and 2 Arjan's Haze #1. I have heard if you put the widows on a cycle of 8hrs of light a day for the last 2 weeks of flowering, it will trigger a emergency response and produce tons of resin, giving it its "white" appearance. NOW! I need to switch the widow very soon, but the Arjan isnt nearly done to my liking. SO! question being. will it hurt the Arjan if I switched the light to 8hrs a day?

I would continue the 12 hours of light a day for the Arjan. Even though it's cool, I wouldn't sacrifice the yield of one for the aesthetics of another. This is the tradeoff of growing multiple strains in one tent though. I'd just be sure to give them all 24 hours of darkness previous to chopping them down. That should do the trick!

I would leave the lights on 12/12 - don't worry - if your Widows are original great genes they will produce tons of resin no matter what. That 8 hour tip is really not necessary and you would probably not notice the difference. If i'm wrong i would very much like to see photos of someone who has done this next to plants where it has not been done to compare.
