i need advice im dis is my 1st grow

yo wats sup my weed smokers lol but for real i heard from dis website that if i get bugs on my plant i should spray them with nicotine sulfate you think i should and if you dont then what can i use that i dnt have to buy???? lol yea im cheap.. lol well aleast till i get a job.....thx alot.... oh and how will i know when i need to start my 12/12????? thxs

Start your 12/12 cycle after you see preflowers on all of your plants. As for nicotine sulfate, it will work on most pests, but not all. I would recommend going with neem oil or a pyrethrum fogger (worst case). However, you can start with the broken up cigarette in the water. It's a good first step. Happy growing.

P.S. Break up a cigarette (menthol) in a glass and cover with water. Let it sit for a day. Strain it, and spray it.
