I am at a total loss. Let me explain.

Been growing for several years,
using ebb & flow
Bagseed growing in rockwool

Well water that is about 75 PPM
GH nutes taking water to about 250PPM
PH around 6-6.5
Fouros for 18 hours a day
1 watering (30 minutes) every day

OK, seeds sprout and start to grow until they get about 1-2 inches high. Then the lower leaves start to turn brown and the plants slow down their growth. I can't figure out what has changed. I hope you can give me some hints.

Are you adding in the nutes (after) the plants have a few sets of leaves? Or are you adding them to your system as seedlings?

thats the problem then bro.. :o :shock: You have to look at them like they are babies. ;) the food is just to hot for them in their younger stages of life. If/when you do start some new ones, just place the seeds into your medium whatever you decide to use, use plain h2o that has been ph'd to 5.5 is what I had tried to keep mine around when I had ran DWC. At that level they seem to accept the food better. ;)

I thought ph should be around 5.8 for seedlings. I only got 1 DWC bucket going now since im a soil guy but i keep my ph under 6. When it has hit 6.5 it shows on the leaves that it doesnt like that high of ph.

I was stating the ph I had kept mine at when running the DWC. Its a wide range though from 5.5 - 7.0

You wouldnt feed a seedling though is what I was trying to get across to the OP. ;) They usually can make it to at least their 2nd to third node/leaf sets without any nutes. Then I would just start off with a lower ppm with my nutrients & work my way up to where I wanted my nute levels. If they ever showed any signs of over feeding I would just back off a tad. ;)
