Upscaling my outdoors a little bit, and using FFOF. What amendments should I use that will continuously feed? Liquids aren't a good idea, I just want to mix into soil. Thanks!

The Osmocote Plus line of ferts. would be ideal for situations of minimal maintenance. Since it is granular (prilled) it offers ease-of-use along with both Macro/Micro nutrients. The prills are coated in various thickness that allows the ferts. to be released at 4 different rates depending on temperatures and moisture presence. Other than throwing in a few handfulls of dolomitic lime to act as a pH buffer nothing else would be needed besides checking occasionally for pests. I've done many, many outdoor grows and these products always work well for me. I have used the 15-9-12 the past 2 years with great yields but you really can't go wrong with any of the ratios they offer.

fox farms has a pretty good selection of happy frog fertilizer that you mix into the soil. i am using the Happy Frog Acid Loving Plants it is 6-4-4 which is the same as grow big

Wouldn't that be a little too much alkaline for the babies though?

You can also try out Organicare Pure.

Fox Farms makes several amendments as well. Do a little looking and you'll be surprised what you see.

How much of each per gallon?
I did a 50/50 mix of FFOF. and black gold, filled a garbage can about half way and added a 5 gal of worm castings and a hand full of guano and a hand full of water crystals. Used about a gallon of the fish emulsion/superthrive with water and moistened the soil. Then let it sit for a week. That worked for me. Here is a shot of all of it together.

I have used the soil mix 3 times now. fall, winter and spring harvest in my greenhouse. I add liquid nutrients now but I honestly think they would do fine without them.

Whoops almost forgot. I mixed in that perlite too.
