I need help! Cfl grow-room

im making a litte cfl grow room with a mate, but ive been told if i get hold of 27w lights they will blow, this is because the new zealand volatge thing is 240 or something? would 23w lights be suitable? also will four lights surrounding the plant be suitable? any help and tips will be very appreciated! Cheers

Depends how big you intend to grow them.

Not very big. 3 feet maybe, not too sure. Where just experimenting haha

I think you would be fine with three maybe 4

you'll need more then 4 lights per plant but it can be done with 4 lights just not good yeilds

well if you want to have a veg area you could use 1 of thoes lights for the veg area and the other 3 for flowering

ok if you make 1 flowering area and 1 veg area. You can use very few lights for veg but when it comes to flowering you need to give them light

so is the veg a stage of the plant cycle or part of the plant?

When a pot plant is in its vegitative state (24/0 or 18/6) the plants will not throw its flowers (bud)

When the plant is on a 12/12 light they will start to throw its flowers
