MG is fine for growing, as long as you understand and practice patience in watering. Mix the MG with the perlite to achieve good drainage. Again, the secret to good grows with MG is timely and proper watering....meaning after popping your beans and planting, avoid watering until the soil is nearly dry.....overwatering is the primary reason MG grows fail.
Good luck.

yeah that soil has just about every thing you need im useing foxfarms with bat guano and worm casting that plant has plenty of food got some nutes for when its time for it till then ill let the dirt do its job perlit is for moisture beyond that your cool.

get some (sphagnum peat moss) it will help thin out the nutes in the miracle grow. Use 40% MG/ 40% Sphagnum/ 20% perilite always works good together.... pretty good drainage also. But thats just my recommendation if your gunna use miracle grow. Dont use any nutes till flowering tho, just water and occasional molasses.

MG will do you good if your a first time grower.

cut it with some perlite.

water with 6.5pH water.

dont use any nutes. your plant has more then enough nutes in soil for a full grow.

MG took me through my first grow pretty smoothly other then a bit of nute burn. not that big of a deal, just a few burned tips around the bottom.
