Hello,

a fucking deer absolutely destroyed my medical Ortega Indica (in the woods) and I only had one seed left. I started germination today at around 12 p.m. If I plant the popped seed today, will I yield anything if I protect it? The weather is perfect right now, no clouds, just pure sunshine :-| This is for sleep medication (I have chronic insomnia) I'm so bummed out:cry:

you could always put em out in pots and then bring them inside to finish at the end if need be?

and get some mountain lion piss to keep deers away

I do believe they would finish, just perhaps not all they can be in terms of trees so your prolly just looking at lower yields

I only have one seed, meaning I only have one LAST chance, for this season :( Does anyone know how much I would yield in a sunny and warm climate, 70 - 90 degree heat range, in an organic semi-coco/perlite/topsoil mix with organic nutes, theoretically if the plant isn't stressed and has a good start? Remember, I've already started germing today.. Thanks :)

This is a feminized seed, thank God for that! :) So, what do you guys think I SHOULD yield? She's in the soil, on full sun today. Germination was great and fast :)

can't really predict what she will yield, but I grow a strain that is crossed with ortega and she is one of the heaviest yielders i have ever seen.

I dont know about yield, but if you want to put her in the ground and keep deer away, theres a few tricks I do to keep animals away.

1) Chicken Wire: Put like a fence of it around you plant (just around your plant, not around trees or nothing)
2) Piss in the general area. Deer, rabbits, etc are all scared of humans period. SO the scent of a human in the area will keep them at bay.
3) Nicotine Spray. Take ciggarette butts or snuff (if snuff, put it in a tea bag) and soak it in a glass of warm water for a day or 2, then put that in a spray bottle and add more water to fill the bottle. This spray will make the plant smell bad to stuff like deer and rabbits and if you do it enough, it will soak into the plant and if bugs eat the plant at all they will die (nicotine is a poison)

It's hard to say without knowing your latatude and altitude. You should be able to fiish it still but yields will be way off. good luck and sorry to hear about your plants. deer don't seem to bother my plants once they start to flower.
