Not badmouthing your grow.....it's why I said "nice to have your own stuff" a filter on the intake to your area would help you enjoy better smoke.
I understand, I didn't take it that way...I was just talking about how different it can be from state to state...We're still in the stone ages here and I hate it

Definitely trichomes
Just take a look at the closeup I snipped from your image. You can see the majority of the "trichomes" don't have the little round head, just pointy ends. Those are cystolith hairs, not trichomes. Commonly mistaken for trichomes unless you get some magnification going and know the difference to look for. The capitate stalked trichomes are where the majority of the THCa is produced.

I am only trying to point you in the direction of maximizing your grow quality. For a first grow you did well. If you are happy with the results that is all that matters. Sorry if I come off harsh, I am just blunt and to the point. If it was my grow the first thing I would do is invest in some photo genetics. This has the added benefit of being able to keep a mother and clone if you are prone to such things. Second thing I would do is figure out a way to keep the flower clean. Hairs/fibers are one thing but what if it was bugs?

Anyways, happy growing and please don't take my criticism the wrong way, I can be a real dick when I wanna be and this aint that at all lol. Peace.

I understand and I did the same thing, I thought, with the close up I posted. Those have what you are talking about, dont they? If not please show me the difference. This was my 1st grow, I'm still learning ..I didn't take offense

Yeah imma be in trim jail soon.

Spent the past 5 hours cutting down plants and big leafing. What a pain in the ass. And i had my boy helping.

Probably 60lbs wet.

This is made worse when you have allergies. Itchy skin, itchy throat, itchy eyes, runny nose, sneezing.

I laughed at the trimming comment, yeah, who would have known. On the hair/thread/whatever, just think of growing outdoors. I took a look at a bud of mine last year and I had a bug encases in resin looking back at me.

I was thinking that. Outside plants could be covered in armadillo poop and it's cool. Indoor and a few hairs and you get called out lol

Trimming is always worse than I expect, and I only ever have between 1-4 plants to do at once!

Have never had to sharpen my scissors, but then I use shears for any branches larger than a quarter inch thick, and both tools are high carbon steel so maybe worth an upgrade? They didn't cost a lot.

Also I recommend an alcohol bath and rag for intermittent cleaning of tools during the trim, and 100% definitely wear gloves! I hate having to clean even a small amount of resin off my fingers when decanting jars etc, the amount from a large trim would drive me insane!

The last 2 days was 10 hours each day of trimming bud. Im not used to it, so my back is killing me and I'm a little tired. I had to sharpen my scissors 5 times, my fingers are a sticky green mess. But this is some pretty bud
Why so much trimming?
Are you selling it.
