I READ the FAQ's on this..But I'm chicken..

Sooo..I need some advice here. My brother-in-law say's I should be able to prune or top these plants now to make them bushier.. These plants are about 2 and a half months old, I intend to finish them outside. I read the faq's ...but I'm afraid I'm gonna screw up my nice lookin babies. Soo the question's are...
1. Should I do this ?
2. Is it gonna make much difference in yield?
These are 2 different plants.....one is bushier than the other already.
I'd appreciate any input and confidence boosting is always good. I'm scared i'm gonna kill'em.

you will be allright if they aent in bloom mode. And you can top them, it will make them bushier, but will it add more weight? I dont think so.

I think you should go for it and top them, or you can fim them, which ever is fine. Heres a link on how to do that if you hvent seen it already

your plants look healthy i think they will do good. Also i think it will make a difference in yield bc there is more top colas after you top/fim.

doesn't make much sense to risk it then ..unless I wanna keep them short. But if it makes a difference in yield..then I should...I'm soooo confuuuuuused..

nah topping or fimming them will just make them concentrate more on putting out more side growth than vertical growth. Your cola wont be as big that way but they still yield as much or comparably a bit more that way.
dont be so scared, you have 2, try one of em and let one go the way you normally would untouched. then youll know for the next grow

monsters are made by topping several times outdoors and long hours of strong sun

i usually top my plants but i grow indoors with limited vertical space. if you want a gigantic fat-ass monster cola - DO NOT TOP!

If you want multiple top colas then do top. I have never done the research so could easily be talking directly from my ass but it seems having 6-8 large top colas would yield more than a single gigantic one - but i can't say for sure. Can anyone verify or contradict this?

yield will be the same. it all depends on what you want. do you want a big tree or a wide bush?

Why would you top them if they are going outside? unless you want to go low profile for stealth reasons. Peace
