i ripped the rockwool!!!!

i know this is stupid , but i have 9 blue cheese cuttins and have them in a incubator for like 4-5 days now and i was getting impatient so i carefully cut a slit down 1 side of the rockwool and saw that ther wer no roots!
so i cut another 1 and another 1 until i had cut them all...!

what i found was
4 have rooted slightly (like 1 little root!)
and 5 had nothing!!
so i recut the 5 and put them back in the rockwool

what i need to kno is.. does it matter if ther is a slit in the medium??
is it ok if i dont open them again??

why are they taking so long to root??

any advice would be appreciated.

make sure them stems are snug in the rockwool. tape them up so no light gets in. good luck

thanx 4 the advice zan but cud i do it without the tape as i wudnt want it to cum in th way of any roots??

tape around the top half of the rockwool the roots will come out the bottom.

i have taped the top half of the rock wool and 1 has already started to show roots!!

also i have 10 plants which r about 6 weeks old and the tallest 1 is about 55-60cm which r on ther 4th day of flowering
but out of the 10 i have 2 runts wich r no more than 25-30cm tall!!

i hav kept these 2 in veg still
what i would like to kno is how come they are so much smaller than my other 8 plants??

if they're the same strain thay are probably a different pheno type. Happens from seeds. Pick the one you like best to clone from for future use!!!

do u mean 1 of the small 1z??

will that also mean all future clones will be as small as them too??
