i think its growing upside down?

lol sounds weird, it is.
i just put a seed in the soil
and now a couple days
later it produced this.
is it growing upside down?

give it another day it should sprout if not ... i guess you can dig it up

the seed shell is progbably still stuck on the head of the plant. If it doesnt sprout in a day you need to dig it up and help it along.
