Well I'm no g'damn expert, that's for sure, but I know how it feels when you first start trying to grow plants.
Fortunately for us there is a LOT of knowledge here you can research, and it helped me troubleshoot some of the things I caused during my first grow. Hell, I grow peppers too, and THE best cultivators of peppers tend to be good cannabis cultivators.
Matter of fact, I'd recommend growing something else alongside of your ladies, not in the same space, of course, but at the same time. The more plants you have (within reason), the more experience you gain at being able to read the little fuckers when they need either water, or food, or light, or shade, and so on. Hell, start some basil, or a super hot pepper, anything. They're cheap, so you don't lose out on cash if you make a mistake through experimentation.
It's nice being able to smoke your own bud, and eat your own chow.
Every human should know how to cultivate plants IMO. That shit should be taught in public school.
