I’m not in a legal state yet so in between harvests I will buy a bag occasionally from a pretty good dude. I got a bit from him recently that was full of seeds. Hadn’t seen anything like that in years....anyway after a couple weeks he hits me up with his new stuff and asked if I was alright or traveling.

i brought up the seeds and he said.....”yeah I saw them, it happens when they pick it too early”

Do people really think this?

Potency Starts to degrade once they get pollinated and go into seed mode ;)

Beg to differ...I spent decades stoned like a monkey before I ever had sensi...*saved* a ton of those seeds, too...even some from the 70s (they don’t pop too well, so far)

Sis walked to look at these plants for Grandma. WOW! Grandma they are ready!

Im an old timer and Sinse was rare back in my day (80's) in fact most weed had seeds and it still got you very high, maybe not as much as todays but back then seeds were OK. Thats what album covers are made for, to roll seeds... (sorry showing my age, yes album covers are the perfect rolling tray...)

Yes, double albums and a playing card sorted out your seed problem pretty quickly.

Growing back in the day was so much simpler as apposed to today. Now they got to much magic bull shit unicorn sweet, pixie dust, and all that voodoo juice that seems to only complicate things cause they want to see you spend money just look at the bottles all shiny with great claims. Just like somebody peddling elixir. All the real hippies were keeping it simple cause we had to make everything ourselves without any help. It was all trial and error, we learned to grow as we grew. Only bag seeds back then. We had High Times magazines with their pirate prices. Today is all about shiny trinkets, bells, and whistles.:hump:

Reminds me of couple years ago I went with some Loggers.

About daylight smoking. Some that they had grown in the brush. One well better get to work.

They had a Boom Box you could hear over the Chainsaws. Not kidding one was drinking a Beer and sawing.

My wife if you was younger you would be right there.

Newspaper is best, catches the shake and seeds roll down more easily. Also, i know
seeds take away from thc potency, but i just wonder if a few seeds per nug won't impart
a smoother flavor and a better high. Hell, used to be you couldn't get it w/o seeds and
now you can't score it with seeds. There is also something to be said about heirloom cannabis.

Male plant?

I've been growing a couple of autoflowers for about 2 months, and a couple of weeks ago they began flowering. Today I discovered growths on the second plant that appear to be male parts. Can anyone confirm if this is the case? And if so, what do I do?

Yea I agree. A nail through the stalk, some ice water, and 5 weeks of darkness before harvest. No magic voodoo shit what so ever back in the day.

Never used mason jars back then or curing. Hang, dry, smoke, and sell. Life was so much easier back then. I have to admit that weed now a days is so much better and you seem not to be able to get anything that is really bad. First time I saw weed with no seeds was in Hawaii I think around 1978.
