I wanna know, Help all Those who Have the Knowledge!

Hi all,
New to this forum. I have been ay outdoor grower for 5 years till 2011. I am now moving indoors and am breaking new ground for me. Circumstances bind me to the indoors and i need my hobby back. New country new rules, they are very strict here to the point that i dont want to disclose any personal infomation. I am starting a closet grow and will move to bigger things later. My plans are 400w HPS in a cool tube reflector, About the ballast, from what i can understand it is for both MH and HPS globes, is this possible? Or is it either or? This is a picture of it i cant do any more for infomation on it.

Fans: ill be running two bathroom fans, one for the lamp connected with tubing and the other for air flow in the box both will be sucking air out.
I will add Led grow bulbs at the sides for that extra light to the lower branches. Soil grow with a 20-20-20 fertiliser water soluble. im going for two 15 litre buckets as ive learnt weed likes its root space.
I have 5 feminised purple haze and 5 feminised blue cheese. I shat my self ordering these seeds as i spent a pretty penny on them and this country being so fucked up with marijuana i dont really want to do it again. Im planning on 2 plants at a time one of each strain as ive read you can harvest indoor every 2 months or so. This will give me time to test the box and add on a veg room not having to switch from MH to HPS when i want to flower as well as the two mother plants and some clones. How long do mother plants last?
I am in the process of moving house so i will order my stuff once ive moved. This gives me a month or so to come up with the best plan with what i can find in this country. Believe it or not they sell HPS lamps and Cool tubes online here. Back to the fans, i dont know what CFM rating they have i could go through the trial error thing but that is what this month is for, to gather all the infomation from all you green thumbs out there.

This should be sufficient cooling, yes? With ofcourse mini fans blowing on the plants from either side. Central AC as its crap hot in this place i will have to keep my room at a relative tempreture. Can the ac be trusted to keep the room at a constant alround temp?
Timers on the lights, and fans. humidity and tempreture guage (digital) inside. Then of course Ph meters both water and soil. Mylar covering the walls seald from light with white silicone in the door cracks. Is there any thing i am not thinking of?
Ive heard the of the advantages of a co2 regulator and co2 tanks and all the rest but that is future talk right now.
Im not Going 100% proffesional but i want a good start with as little trial and error as possible.
Closet sizes are unknown for now as i havent found a suitable one yet.
Any other advice?

less trial and error...read want others are doing...learn from their mistakes not your own....
read,take notes,learn as much as you can before you buy anything....don't ever just trust one person...its best to get multiple points of view...if someone is trying to sell you something,take all their input with a grain of salt...
that being said...i think inline fans would be better than bathroom fans...
i would use a bloom nute....not just 20-20-20....
co2 is the last thing to add to a grow room...
you think about smell?

The only thing I can help with is the ballast. If it says on the label(s) that it's MH/HPS compatable, then it is.

I have 2, 600W and 1 400W MH/HPS combos that I'm going to use for both veg and flower, so far so good.

400 watts is no concern for heat i run 3 600's and the are NOT ducted they are open and with a simple ac unit i manage that heat. You will NEED A DEHUMIDIFIER to prevent mold danger. You also should not use soil indoors, look into coco coir its sterile and ph perfect soil is a better media for mold, bacterias and bugs to live in.

Also under a 400 you should only do 1 plant. Trying to let 2 plants overcrowd each other will decrease your yield. I would use a screen to train it (see SCROG) to keep your canopy even to light distribution. Whatever you do dont use soil!!! Use Coco Coir take my word for it

all the best mate but start slowly and learn, its fucking only a weed, but so easy to fuck up, good luck anyway mate.

Oh yea you dont need a mother plant just take the clones off your vegging plants prior to blooming. Old plants develop weaker immune systems. So its better not to keep a mother around

Thank you SeniorBrownWater reading and learning is all i have been doing on this site for a couple of days now. My only concerns are the products i can get here and their workablity. Fertilisers i will look more into, as that isnt so expensive here, but my guess would be a bloom nute is for vegging? Smell wont be a majour issue as i will be on the +/-26th floor and the law being so strict here civilians wont know what they are smelling (i dont even think the Pigs would know). I am yet to find a inline fan on the website i will be using.

Thank you Hugo Phurst, Cool so that is the one im getting! means i can veg with the MH for a month then change bulbs for flower when i change the time

Thank you Mr. Motavation, i will be running the grow in a wardrobe so im just concerned the heat will build inside the closet itself. I will read up on coco coir, but dont you need to almost go hydro with that? mixing the nutrients for every water is going to be a hastle as it is. And how is the drainage on coco coir? I dont want to end up with pockets of dry patches within my pots.
If i get a 600w set up would that handle two plants? with LED grow bulbs hanging into the lower part?

Thanks welshsmoker. I am hoping for the best from the begining, as i know more about the plant and growing it then i know about the indoor setups but am confident with the advice of all the seasoned growers on Rollitup i will gain more insight then the Marijuana Horticulture The IndoorOutdoor Medical Growers Bible can teach me

All the questions are directed at everyone, please dont be shy to tell me my ideas arent going to work, that is what i want to hear so that i can see the error of my ways! Again thank you all for the reponses! Time for a hash pipe and a relax (hash is all you can get in this country)..

Ok so i can get one of either of these which one is the best?

And 600w HPS/MH or 400w HPS/MH for two plants?

And the fan: How my M3/Hour is decent?
