Hello everyone I'm adding a 1000hps to my mix. my basement area is 12x7 with 8' ceilings. I already have a 1000 and a 600 hps air cooled with a 6" inline fan. I'm also currenly exhausting a can filter with a 8" max fan also. My temps are good 80 degrees. Not a big fan of a/c due to power consumption like most so I was thinking of blowing cold air in from outside. I live in Colorado and the window is under the deck, it has screen to keep out any debris out of the fan. I was going to put a sealed board over the window, cut out a hole and intake the air into my flower room to sub for a/c. The exhaust fan will now befome a scrubber due to lack of humidity issues. I will exhaust the lights with the bigger max fan and duct this into my heating vents to clear the room. Will blowing cold air in the 12x7 area every so often with a timer/inline fan work? If you've had experience intaking cold air give me some hints.

should work, consider a thermostat to power the fan and don't blow ice cold air directly on the plants, aim it at the floor.also consider a passive intake of inside air so you have fresh air when the temps in the room are low.
