I want to work with the enviroment in California

Luckily I have the head of the department of environmental studies of Florida at a college campus I commute to sometimes. I talked with somewhat of a recruiter for the programs involved with the NRC, turf management, and plant nurseries. I'm hoping with the assistance of the department head I could land a job in the future anywhere from virginia to oregon, working somewhat within forestry or sports turf management, anything to deal with outdoors, the biological growth and sustinance of plants.. I would take care of a nursery for free. And California seems like a home away from home with all of you nice, environmentally friendly people here. I'm just wondering if this sounds like the asperations of a lost college student, or if this is a genuinely good idea to pursue? I know there is always more and more to learn, and that is why I love the environment. The money in turf management is not bad at all, either. Anyone working for this/acquire this line of work/studies? I would love to talk more about it.. I need advice. :leaf:
