I would like your input if you heat your grow room

If you heat your grow room with a oil filled radiator or other source with a built in thermostat I have a few questions for you.
I’ll give you my details first, I have a room in the attic of my shed first time trying outdoors in winter I can’t use my basement anymore long story. I use a enclosed heat lamp and a ceramic space heater for supplement, my only choice right now. Humidity is all over the place and so are my temps. At 16% humidity I have to turn the thermostat way up to keep temps above 65, at 30%+ humidity I have to turn it way down.

I’d like to know your experiences.
What are your temp variations? Mine are about 10 degrees if humidity is stable so heater kicks on at65 off at 75 degrees.
Have you noticed humidity affecting your thermostat? If I have mine set perfect at 16% humidity to range from 65-75 degrees and humidity rises to 30-40% then my temps jump up to 90+ degrees.

Not looking for why don’t you just get a humidifier yada yada, I’m looking for information on how your thermostat performs.

I’ve never had to heat a grow room before, it’s been trial and error and I just got my room setup with a moisture barrier and expect humidity levels to level off, up to 40% for the first time. I literally had to tear my room apart and start from scratch after all my humidity was sticking to my walls behind the insulation. No mold, no worries, saved my girl in the process (heat and cold and humidity stress) just trying to figure out this temp issue so I don’t have to check every couple of hours.
She is 15 days old been stressed for about a week still growing pretty well considering.
I know it’s not that bad but I don’t like to see her stressed at all.

How big is your area? Any ventilation? Attics are susceptible to big swings in temps and humidity.

Perhaps obtain a higher quality line voltage thermostat and plug the heater into that and just leave the heaters internal thermostat cranked up. Then you can set the new thermostat further away from the heater with an extension cord.

No ventilation, I don’t really want to try since it’s a stealth grow my wife would kill me. Humidity has been stable since I put plastic up ironically so have the temps. Was more curious on others experiences with heated grow rooms not inside there house.

I considered this before I started the project, great idea I still might in the future working with a tight budget. Looking for thermostats gives me a headache lol, I’m way to picky apperently I like them to have a +-2 or 3 degree swing feature. Will eventually look into it, if lux makes the line voltage type I’m sure they have a better swing value than one degree.

I can live with a 10 degree variation so I guess +-5 degree swing as long as the humidity doesn’t change drastically overnight I won’t cook my buds when they come. I still have time to figure it out.

Trying to figure out when I can visit my sister and get my humidifier back that I can set to whatever humidity I want auto on/off.

They call that "swing" differential. for search purposes.

I never had any luck with thermostats mounted on a heater, the heat conducts over to the thermostat and throws it off.

Inkbird makes a plug n play digital temperature controller thats pretty cheap, you can find them for like 35 bucks. They have an adjustable differential.

That’s good to know tyvm I will take a look at it.
Swing differential that’s right bring back all those repressed memories trying to sift through all the shit and find a useful thermostat
Seriously went to a heating/cooling supplier to try to get answers why every single thermostat has a differential of 1 degree, he looked at me like I was nuts then informed me that lux has adjustable differential.
I’m pretty sure I looked for ten straight hours to find the perfect fit for me.
