Icecap Hi output T5 ballast?

I have a 6 bulb T5 system that was built using retro fit kits for aquarium hoods. When I pieced together this system I used to differnet ballast and one of them was a ice cap 660 which is labeled as a hi output ballast. The ballast pushes 54 watts x 4 but the manufacturer says this ballast will overdrive the bulbs but I don't know how much? The seco

Has anyone ever used these ice cap ballast for grow ops?

Will the ice cap ballast be ok to run regular T5 grow bulbs?
