Ideal CXA30 holders work for CXB3070?

So Id like to utilize the holders if possible as they are easy and seem like the best way to mount. I have decided on CXB3070 (12) and 3 MW 1400ma drivers.

I check the specs on both the CXA3070 and CXB3070 and they are listed on CREE's website as being the same dimension at 27.35 x 27.35 mm.

Does anyone have a comparison of the 2? Has anyone tried the holders or know for sure if theyd work? If no one has, I will probably end up ordering some to test. Seems like they should work.

It will work. CXB are top bins of CXA.

Yep that is the right one. The CXA and CXB are identical physically. One of the reasons Cree did it was for quick and seamless implementation without design changes.
