well the title says it...
my plants are around 15-17 inches, with about 11-13 nodes... im not sure how old, didnt keep track.. but i flat out dont know when the plant is ready to be cloned... and is there any special way to take them off? i watched my dad do it, but idk if he was using some ancient technique i dont know about :D
any info would be awsome

just cut at a 45* angle, i cut mine at 4-5 inches long. also you dont want air to get into the stem so immediently soke the cut tip in water then straight to rooting hormone and to dirt/rockwool etc

best plant parts are young spruces of the plant, so fresh leaves are the easiest to get to root. i usually won't take extra cuts to clone but rather use the parts that i cut off when topping my babies. so for the topping i use a pair of sterilised scissors. the plant parts then get a 45° cut with a sterile razor blade, get rolled in clone powder-the cut is the scraped free again so the powder won't block water out and prevent root grow there. the i place the treated cutting into the grow medium of choice, at the moment in my grow jiffy tabs which been pre-soaked a day earlier in a closed rubbermaid box.
then the clones are placed in a propagation dome and lightly misted every few hours, first days with a light mix of hormone to the water (about half a knife tip per liter). and that is then placed in a warm spot, with not to much light at first (75°F+ during the day at least, never more then 85°F)

ok cool, so i dont have to be a mad scientist, but anyways, how big should they be? do mine sound big enough to start cloning? and what kinda light do i need JUST to get them started and enough to where they'll root and be done?

big enough at least that a single cut won't kill them and the leaves you take have at least 1/3" stem to root. as soon you find those you can start to clone;)
