plants are looking bushy and short light is as far up as she can go. output is 480watt overall but currently in week 5 of veg sitting at about 200watts if i knock this light down to 140watt will she stretch taller i have already begun lst somjist hoping for more space between the nodes and bigger buds
if i turn lights down will they stretch ?

Long internodal space doesn't make bigger buds, just more stem between buds. Tight internodal spacing makes the buds stack into each other and make big colas. Besides, if you wanted to increase internodal spacing, it would be better to do it during stretch in flower by increasing nitrogen rather than messing with lighting, but you probably won't be happy with the results.
They will stretch a LOT when you flip to flower, like twice as tall or more. Lasts around 3 weeks.
