Does anybody know the status of SB1381 or did it die and we have to do this all over again? Please post if you have proof...

Unfortunately it just lost the last vote 56-60-1 in the house on Jan 6, 2011.

on a side note, assuming the bill follows the same pattern in the house that it did in the senate, we can expect to see MMJ in Illinois as soon as summer of 2011.

Bear in mind, that this is only the PASSING or denial of the legislation, and not the actual enaction of the MMJ Program. Realistically speaking, and following the trends that other states have followed, I would say that you'll actually be walking around, medcard in hand, to pick up your first legal dose by the Fall of 2012. Just in time for the end of the world
