I'm an impatient bastard. Slow seedling, to pull or not to pull.

I'm impatient and one seedling isn't really taking off. I've got a gatorslade frost auto(the bigger of the two) and an amnesia auto which happens to be slow as shit.

Should I pull it and start another in three weeks for a staggered harvest, or stick with it and have a dual harvest and a possible runt? They at day 11 now (9" pots for size reference).

Am I just being picky? I'm assuming an auto at this size at day 10 is going to be a bit of a runt.

If I do pull it and start another, I do have this starting week 3 of flower for a relatively close harvest. I just don't know if it's worth wasting my time on a stunted seedling.

Can anyone say nitro heavy lol?

It looks healthy I'd run with it for now its still got time to get going you've 3 weeks to decide.

Out of curiosity how long do auto's take on average seed to harvest?

This ones only at mid 30 days, being so small it might be a bit quicker but I've averaged about 80-90 days. usually i only get around 3 weeks until pre flower kicks in as im not the best at providing a stress free environment lol. This one popped pistils at day 16 sadly. Usually about 21-25 days until pre flower and 60-65 days flower.

I'm running chemdog #4 photo fems over summer as it gets hot as shit here with lights on 18-20hrs, and my last few autos have been early flowerers which is disheartening.

I might just let it go for shits and giggles. I've got another 60x60 I can throw the purple passion in if it gets crowded later on. I don't know why I'm always looking for excuses to burn through seeds I've paid good money for.

Why does everyone want such small plants to grow?lol
because I hide growing in uni accom. People have their reasons. I also like to stagger grows and don't/can't run multiple tents? I don't know if i'd call the majority of my 6-7 oz autos small either.

Why is there always some judgmental cunt every time an auto or smaller grow is posted? We don't all live in legal areas with our own houses and some of have to hide our ops in a closet.

Lol in your uni accommodation, isn't that a bit risky?
Not that I'd let risk put me off but I'm curious what the outcome would be if you were reported.

I wasn't judging it was a legitimate question. Cannabis is a big ass plan

I'd be straight fucked lol. Its been a challenge. I have a filter in the tent, a scrubber in the walk in and an air purifier in me room. I've managed to smoke and grow here for a year lol. No one knows I do either atm.

Another reason I look for smaller plants now is also the variety. I only smoke like 1-2g a week, so having three small plants that pull 2-3 oz each does me forever, and I have a variety of strains. I could easily pop one of the numerous photo strains I have here, set up scog and go for an 8-10 week veg. All in all, three plants or one, I only have the light and space to yield so much.

@Bucsfan80 I grew 6-7ft Loas/BCN crosses for two years outdoors. I didn't go around asking people why their plants were so small at the time. I just figured they had different priorities.

was hoping someone would come in with a back from behind story where their sorry ass slow seedling grew out to a success. I suppose it wont hurt to throw another one in there as a failsafe. If it ends up better ill swing the amnesia to a mate.

For my summer run this year, the Bigfoot Glue sprouted and got planted the same day as 11 other plants. All was well for the 1st week, then like some cosmical shit magic, at the 3rd set of leaves it stopped growing. And didn't do a damn thing for 5 weeks, then POOF, one day it broke out of its slumber, and started growing again. We weren't even going to run it this year because it stalled. Well, had a plant Hermie on us way early, and brought it outside as a replacement. It was sickly, eating itself, entire plant was yellow and starving. Guess it was good for it, it totally recovered and is the tallest plant in the swamp boxes, just about 9ft tall. All mine are photos.
It's already sprouted, why kill it, it may come out of its "slumber" and do like mine did, decide it wanted to grow. Even a micro harvest will still get you a taste of something different, even if it is just a few grams.

Shows I've gotta stop being so picky. I'm way to keen to constantly pop seeds, give them away and then pop more. I swear I have an addiction to germinating seeds.
