Hi guys my plants are really sick and I am damned if i know what to do about it.

They're in NFT 1m2 with a 600w HPS lamp above them, EC was 0.2 after I let them have water for a week then recently I have bumped it up to 0.6. Ph is 5.8/5.9 tested with blue labs dual meter which I have specifically cleaned, and recalibrated twice to be sure.

The plants have the same brown flecks and yellowing that 99.9% of everyone else does on this plant problem section caused by what appears to be A) Over feeding, B) PH imbalances, C) Nutrient lockout caused by B.

I have emptied the tank twice, I'm using RO water with a tested EC of 0 and I am using general hydro micro and bloom at a ratio of 2:1 [to whatever EC i am looking for]. I have increased the tilt of the top tray, I have added a bubbler to the reservoir and there is no light getting through the top layer. I am truly stumped if I know what to do with them now...

Strain is white russian.

You can see the leaves are curling in on themselves as if there is a ph problem but like I said, the ph is fine, I have pondered if my probe is faulty but it says my tap water is 7.4, RO is 7 typically dosed hydroponic water is around 5.5 it seems to be working... The second pic shows what appears to be mechanical damage to the leaf, like it was bitten by an insect or something? I have combed over the grow room and found nothing however, they look wilted from over watering but they have roots that extend out from the cubes by about 2 inches now and they wilt if i put them on a timer and watering by hand isn't practicable...

The only other thing I can think of is that these plants were a bit horribly abused for a week at the start of their life, they were in the dark for about 2 and a half days, being watered 4.5 ph water and other stuff [mate was looking after them] and perhaps stressing them when they were young has crippled them? These are now about 4 weeks old :spew:

Any help is much appreciated!

It's really really turned me off hydro to be sure... I know hydro works and can be great but I just cracked 11 seeds in soil and they're charging ahead with growth... I know i must be doing SOMETHING wrong but I have no idea what, ventilation terms the air is being extracted from a 250mm fan on 1/2 speed with a 200mm fan pulling air into the tent via the ducting going towards the tray in the pics [missed out venting details on my plea for help].

I believe this is the answer as the newer top growth looks healthy. I'd clean out those damaged leaves as they will be a breeding ground for molds.
(I don't do hydro BTW so don't ask me any questions about it)
