Immature period?

Hello.
I have a question. how long will it take for a plant to mature once it starts to show sex.

Im a lil new at this and looking like i have a male or two, but i dont want to jump the gun and pull them. Im not going to be around for a week and a half. but will have some one watching them for me. I dont want to come back and have pollen everywhere but if it takes longer than 2 weeks i should be safe.

just a rough estimate , they were just some bag seed

Pics would help alot! How far along are you in flowering? Flowering time depends on strain and genetics, so I would say 8-12 weeks from start of flowering to harvest...

Once a plant shows sex it is mature. As soon as a pollen sac is fully developed it can fertilize a female. Depending on countless variables, a pollen sac can develop over days or a few hours.

Basically that means that leaving your plants for a week and a half is a bad idea. Solution? Tell your friend how to spot a male.

Good luck.

It's cool...just find some pics of male and female preflowers and show your friend, request that he thoroughly inspects these plants for any signs of male genitalia, maybe have him take pics and send them to you while you're away...

No problem, I'll give you some rep for showing some true concern for your plants by starting this thread! GL!
