Importancy of air movement @ "night"

Im trying to cut down on minor power cost and was questioning the circulating fan's operation. I currently run it non-stop during light hours (6pm-6am).

Could i have it timed for 15 mins on, to 45mins off every hour during "night" hours ?

I run a cool tube light assembly with exhaust fan running 24/7, passive intake slots at bottom of tent.

the circulating fan is just to stir up the air
and help dry roots/soil faster.

again im just wondering how important the air movement is during night hours.

how many plants are you growing? if the one fan is powerful enough for the plant, id guess youd be ok, but i know keeping air circulation is important, especially to get a strong main stem. i myself dont have a fan blowing on my one plant i just started during the night because my closet is my grow room and my closet is directly in front of my bed and im running 24/0 with my lights right now so i have the door shut with no air coming in, and mine is doing pretty good right now. i know this isnt much of an answer, but i would imagine you would be ok, but if you could do the 15 on 45 off for each hour that would be better.

9 plants in a 4'x4'x8' homemade pvc frame with black plastic wrap, its a pretty powerful fan, i have it on the floor kinda pointing up a slight angle. all the lower leaves get blown around and the tops of the plants(6'6") dance too.

An oscillating fan doesn't cost much to run continous, bought the same as a 60 watt bulb. Off and on cycle use more power than letting it go. Besides is it worth risking letting mold develop.

thanks g-legal, just the justification i was looking for, i needed a solid stand point as to why or why not run it. ty

I too have a small fan running all the time in my room. just for air circulation and have my exhaust fan kick on for 15m min every 2 hours on the night cycle. why you ask.... humidity i have noticed goes up in the dark cycle so i don't want moldy buds when they are almost done so i keep the air moving and exhaust out. there you go it's not that much electric with a small clip fan and a 6 inch booster from home depot
