In flower switching rooms on different 12/12

My friend has two rooms and due to power limitations wants to run 12/12 8 am to 8 pm in one and 8 pm to 8 am in another. The 8 am to 8 pm would be an early flower for the first 4 weeks then moving over to the other room. How could this be done? Leave them in the dark for about 24 hours before switching over?

Extend the light period or dark period as long as you keep at least 12 hours dark. Since you're doing this because of power restrictions I'd go with extending the night period. If you set them with a few miutes between one room going off and the other coming on you'll have the added buffer on the draw without any difference on the yield.

I actually run my two rooms the same way.

You have two rooms and both run 12/12 with the same amount of lights?? I don't see the reason to move plants from one room to another. If you want to stagger growth just start one room 4 weeks later. Moving them seems like more work and more of a chance of bug/mold issues being spread to both rooms if it should ever happen.
